Last month we held our 5th Annual Bradley Reunion at Arovista Park in Brea. Reunions bring me a lot of joy. It's amazing me to see how quickly the children (and family sizes) grow with each passing year. I get such pleasure catching up with past students of mine. And the babies! My heart warms when they give me those bashful smiles. Clearly they recognize my voice. Who wouldn't after nearly 30 hours of hearing me speak each week while they were still in the womb?
Many families brought delicious food to share! I am certain that NOBODY went home hungry. It was fun to see students connect with couples from other classes. It is always my hope that these reunions will not just be a way to re-connect, but a way to make new friends as well. It brings a huge smile to my face when I hear about families making plans to get together again for dinner, playdates, moms night out, etc.. Nobody should parent without a community like this.
This year I decided to have a silent auction. It earned $190.00 for our scholarship fund. I was able to add the $60 that we raised last year’s raffle ticket sales to bring the total to $250.00. This money will be a huge blessing to future students who struggle for a way to pay for class. Thank you everyone who donated products, and services! I am also grateful to everyone who bid on he amazing deals and/or donated cash to our fund.
We were fortunate enough to have a visit from Allison, franchise owner of Stroller Strides http://classes.strollerstrides.net/placentia/location/index.aspx. She led us threw a fun filled workout that took us on a fitness journey around the park. It was very energizing and it left me feeling really good!
Hope to see you all next time Bradley Friends!
Peace, love, babies,
Danielle
